For those of you who haven’t caught wind of it yet, here’s the bad news:
Phantom-Subs was recently hit with a Cease and Desist notice from FUNimation on behalf of D-Rights, the Japanese copyright holders of our beloved Katekyo Hitman Reborn. As of now, there are no known groups who are translating this series to English (since Rumbel-Higure was also sent a C&D notice). Let’s hope that some group picks up the series soon.
The RAW downloads will still be posted weekly, but streams will only be added once the subbed versions are released.

I know you guys can get impatient with the subs because you are really eager to see the next episode, but try to restrain yourselves with the sub-group bashing. How would you like it if they just got sick of all the crap and stopped subbing it completely? You may think they are “slow” but what other group subs it as fast as they do? If you want to go read the manga then fine, it takes a lot less time to release scanlated manga than anime anyway. The Phantom-Fansub staff has been as patient as they can be with the comments they see here and, quite frankly, so have I.
I don’t mean to seep preachy or angry, but it’s just come down to this:
I don’t mind people seeming frustrated and saying “When are the subs comming out? I need my weekly fix of KHR!,” but once it gets to people posting things like “omg they are so slow!!” and “I’m losing my patience” or any sort of bashing of the one group that subs Hitman Reborn each week, I’ll start banning people. This is a warning because I was out all day and came back home to 20+ comments like the ones I’ve pointed out.
And to those who think it’s alright to try and recruit people for a fansub team on my site…
Don’t.
